Impact[edit | edit source]
It is not an exaggeration to say the Winchester Incident was one of the most important events in 6350 history. The loss of a member of the O5 council, under circumstances that were suddenly unclear but related to 6350 instances, led to a reevaluation of the Foundation's SCP-6350 policy. In addition, as this comprised a disastrous failure of Olympia's first and ultimately only field mission, Project Olympia was suspended indefinitely, leaving the Foundation suddenly once again in search of a ready supply of agents for high-mortality missions. The result was that all 6350s were now mandatorily commissioned as D-Class agents, given few privileges and used primarily as disposable "cannon fodder." This would be the new status quo for nineteen years, ending with RECTIFY.
On a more positive note, Saphir Wyon Neis's uncontained presence led to the development and eventual commercial success of the Roomba vacuum cleaner.
In 2020, Solomon's barrier began to fade, allowing anomalously concealed information to become visible once again. In response to this and to Solomon's prolonged absence, the Hayes investigation was launched.
